Inside My 4 Year Old’s Head!

5 Comments on Inside My 4 Year Old’s Head!

Little Sir is 4 – as he likes to tell people he ‘just turned 4’ only a month or two ago.  He’s always been a sparky little thing since the day he came home over a year ago, but recently I have been fascinated by the way his mind works. We have the most interesting conversations and sometimes, well more than sometimes, I am baffled at what goes on in his head and how to respond to it!  Here are his more ‘out there’ comments:

The Death Star conundrum

the-death-star

‘Look Mummy, it’s the new Death Star!’

That was the moment I knew that Star Wars had now completely taken over our lives! A science lesson was in order!

Animals in disguise

‘Look Mummy, cows.’

‘No Little Sir, that’s a horse!’.

‘Look Mummy, horses in disguise!’

Smart child, or slightly worrying??

Shopaholics are us

‘Daddy, I really like this towel!’

‘Umm, that’s great Little Sir.’

‘Where did you get it from?’

‘Umm, well I think Mummy got it from a towel shop.’

‘Oooh, do they also do blue towels there?’

I think he’s turning into a shopaholic already!

Scientific discoveries

‘Mummy, why are our eyes above our noses?’

‘Umm, I think that’s a Daddy question darling.’

Daddy took the whole thing far too seriously and had a long scientific conversation with a 4 year old about the make up of a face!

Utterly terrifying conversations!

‘Mummy, your head is too big!’

‘Too big for what?’

‘Too big for me to chop off!’

‘Well, I’m pretty glad about that!’

(After quite a long pause) ‘Mummy…can I have a chopper for my birthday?’

Well that would be a definite NO!

Kids really do say the darndest things – I’d love to hear the things your kidlets say which make you laugh or just make you scratch your head!

They say great things. Our BB who is 5 makes up crazy words, I have no idea what’s he’s often talking about. This morning we were having a conversation about whether badgers eat Gloworms!? Lol. Xx #fortheloveofBLOG

This made me laugh reading this especially the bit about having a chopper for his birthday. Where do children get these funny tit bits of conversation from? I’m looking forward to the first funny conversations from my daughter. Thanks so much for linking up at #fortheloveofBLOG. Claire x
